My shower (with Hansgrohe Ecostat 1001 SL exposed thermostat, manufactured in 2004, item no. 13261000) no longer provides hot water. When I unscrewed the temperature control unit, warm water came out. So I believe this control unit is faulty – is that correct, or could there be other causes? Where can I find a replacement temperature control unit compatible with the old Ecostat? Does the new temperature control unit 94282000 (which is available for purchase) fit the old Ecostat?
