Dear forum,
This concerns an approximately 10-year-old four-hole faucet by Hans Grohe (item no. 19 623).
Since it is gold-plated and the showerhead is corroded, and it has a quick-connect fitting that is no longer available for purchase, we would like to replace it.
My plan was to remove everything above the tiles so that I can then lift the mounting plate to access the shower hose underneath.
However, it is not as easy as I thought. I have already managed to remove the outlet valve.
The installation manual describes how the individual parts of the mixer are assembled from above—parts L, K, J, I, H, G1, G—but I was only able to remove parts L and H. Do you know what might be causing this? Is it possibly glued in place that firmly?
Maybe you have some advice.
I’m attaching the installation manual and a few live photos.
