Project_202014 May 2021 05:18Hello forum community,
a quick question with the hope that someone can help.
We want to install dropped ceilings in a few rooms (new build). The base plaster is done and the screed is laid. We will apply a top coat/finish/render made of lime and are wondering if the ceiling should be dropped first 🙂
The plan is to apply this plaster after tiling, and we would prefer not to damage anything.
How have you handled this, or how is it usually done?
Thanks 🙁

We are getting a topcoat/fine render/exposed render made of lime and wonder if the ceiling should be removed first 🙂I would recommend doing that so the transition between ceiling and wall can be properly filled and sanded. I find that looks best. An alternative would be a shadow gap, then the ceiling can also be installed later.P
