Good evening
I am currently planning the layout of the ceiling spotlights in the living/dining room and kitchen.
We will probably install 35W halogen spotlights with dimming function. What spacing between the spots would you recommend to achieve sufficient lighting? Is a distance of about 90cm (35 inches) between the spots enough? (Ceiling height around 2.40m (7 ft 10 in))
This is quite urgent – thank you for your advice

Hello House!!
I would say the most important thing is the layout on the ceiling.
Do you want a pattern (spots), triangle, square, or something else?
Once you have thought that through, you can create the layout and mark it on the ceiling.
Most likely, the number and spacing will then automatically become clear.
Best regards.

Spacing for 35W Halogen Spotlights with a Room Height of 2.40m (7 ft 10 in)
I’m wondering if there are any guidelines or practical recommendations for the spacing of 35W halogen spotlights on a ceiling with a room height of 2.40m (7 ft 10 in) to achieve good lighting.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Hello house builder!!
So, I can only give you the tip to try it out with a lamp once, closely observe the light cone it produces, and then you will have more precise information.
I personally cannot provide exact measurements or distances for this; it would probably be like a lottery.
But maybe someone else can help!!!
Best regards.
