ᐅ Guest Bathroom Toilet - Is a corner shower enclosure still possibly avoidable?

Hello HB forum readers,
Due to other circumstances, the ground floor layout unfortunately left less space for the guest toilet than initially expected. As a result, the shower ended up in the corner, which, considering the shoulder width of some household members *clears throat*, could lead to collisions.
This raised the question of whether it might be possible to place something more practical using a walk-in shower base or similar solution. I would like to tap into your collective expertise here. I hope the dimensions I provide are sufficient.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Thanks for any constructive ideas!
Good luck

Hello,
This is the original poster again... Really great discussion and excellent input from all of you! Many, many thanks so far.
Every contribution is very helpful and advances us.
We are currently testing and measuring all options for our body dimensions. At the moment, all of our BMIs are still within the normal range of 24–27, but in general, people tend to get broader and heavier with age.
The placement of the toilet paper holder and towels is definitely not negligible. Proposal #1 with the extension for the Geberit system could possibly also allow the use of that space.

We have a shower with two folding doors in the corner of our small bathroom (rental apartment). Without a shower tray, it feels like a space miracle when the doors are folded in.
And let's be honest: over 90% of the time, the shower in the guest bathroom is not needed.
I would definitely choose this again when space is limited. Also a very clever approach.
My wife's first reaction: "You can't clean that properly" 🙂
In pictures, it really looks convincing, especially combined with the fact that the shower is probably unused over 90% of the time.

I find them clean enough in our case. Then again, maybe I'm just not particular enough 🙂.
After showering, I use a squeegee on the glass doors. And while I’m at it, I also quickly wipe the tiles toward the drain. It just dries faster that way.
Since the doors fold inward, there’s a risk of stepping through small puddles (especially in the grout lines) with socks on.
Thanks to the space saved, my daughter, my wife, and I can sometimes brush our teeth in the bathroom at the same time.
But, as mentioned, a guest bathroom is used for showers less frequently.
