Hello everyone!

We are having anthracite concrete pavers, 60x40x8 cm (24x16x3 inches), installed on our covered terrace.

I’m currently thinking about the best material to use for jointing. I’ve heard about using “hard” joint filler to prevent ants and other insects from nesting there.

What would you recommend?

I look forward to your advice!

There are paving joint mortars that are waterproof. Otherwise, quartz sand is used.

We have installed firm, water-permeable joints, which we like very much.

Best regards

I think it was called “Tubag PFK” paving joint mortar. It was very easy to work with.

Yes, it is. It’s also a good choice.
