Hello,
the latest issue: The grout color was ordered incorrectly by the tiler. We met on site and agreed on the grout color "on the fly" using samples that we held directly against the tile. Everything seemed clear.
Now a different color has been grouted, which doesn’t look good.
Of course, nothing was documented in writing, but you would think that wouldn’t be necessary (or at least that’s what you’d hope).
The tiler suggested there is a grout color you can paint over it with.
Is that acceptable? I’m worried that using a grout saw to remove it would damage tiles or make it look even worse before.
It has happened so often that things were agreed verbally, sometimes twice, but then executed differently. You’d think that should be enough.
But in fact, you’d have to be on site every day to supervise the work, preferably before anything is done.

Well, can you really get used to the wrong grout color?
What did you have to get used to?1. Front-facing windows ideally positioned for my husband, slightly too high for me
2. Bathroom tiles with less decoration than agreed
3. Kitchen panels without any decoration
4. Ground floor sliding doors without frames *ugh*, which was different from what was agreed
5. Surely more to come
The tiler recommended "cement gray" grout color for the entire house floor, saying the color would hold and not lighten — but after one month and normal cleaning, it has already become lighter...
Is that enough???

(from the Sopro brand)Hello, don’t scrape off or paint over anything.
We wanted to have that done in the old bathroom because the grout had become unattractive, but it was a botched job. So we ended up renovating the entire bathroom.
I looked at the colors you mentioned.
Of course, it’s frustrating, but it’s better to ask for a discount.
Bali Brown is darker than Chestnut, and Chestnut will darken over time, so after a while, you’ll be very satisfied.
By the way, what color are the tiles?
