It’s impossible to generalize. Location, workload, delivery situation, whether there was a coronavirus wave in autumn or not, and so on all play a role.
We started bricklaying in calendar week 12/20 and completed the final inspection by the end of December 2020 (including VAT and all that). We moved in March 2021. The house was built with a general contractor, a single-story flat roof design.
Our neighbor more or less started at the same time but subcontracted all trades individually and still isn’t finished. Here, one subcontractor canceled, another was delayed, and as a result, the next one dropped out. Admittedly, their plot is more complex because it’s on a slope, but the difference in timing is significant and cannot be explained solely by the more complicated build.

Our general contractor (GC) was overall about 3 months slower than a few years ago, when there were fewer problems (a total of 10 months).
So, find out how long the GC/developer/builder (whichever term applies) usually takes and add a few months on top. A more precise estimate is probably not possible.

WilderSueden21 Aug 2022 22:28The shell construction took us about a week per floor, then we waited 3.5 months for the windows. I am still waiting for the roof tiles, hopefully they will arrive the week after next... Now I’m waiting for the plumber to come back from his break, and I hope everything proceeds smoothly so we can move in around the end of the year.
The actual work doesn’t usually take that long. For example, the electrician finished the rough installation in one week. It’s mostly the waiting times between trades or for materials that drag on forever.
