ᐅ Grohe Blue Home faucet or a comparable system

Hello everyone!

I came across the Grohe Blue Home System, and we have kind of fallen for this "sparkling water system" for our new kitchen...

Since we are going to install a water softener for the whole house anyway, we theoretically don’t need this feature again specifically for the faucet.

Does anyone have a Grohe Blue Home System installed and can share their experience?

- Where do I get the CO2 cylinders? Are these just the standard exchange cylinders from supermarkets?
- How about the filter? I saw that the "S-Filter" only has a capacity of 600 liters (160 gallons) and costs around 70€.

Does anyone know of a comparable system that we could consider as an alternative?

It definitely doesn’t have to be Grohe, but of course it shouldn’t be cheap low-quality stuff either...

I’m looking forward to some responses.

Of course, the children drink directly from the French door fridge. But I still want to offer sparkling water to guests.

Maybe there is still a more cost-effective solution for maintenance...

See my post on page 1. Sprudelux. No filter needed if it’s already installed in the house, standard commercial bottles. No idea about energy consumption. No subscription.

But also no experience...

With Sprudelux, it seems I actually have two "faucets" on the countertop...

No, the system is not tied to their own faucet like Grohe. You can also combine it with 5-way faucets, according to their website.

But whether that is true and works that way – no idea.

I’m bringing this thread back. Has anyone gained experience with Sprudelux by now? According to reviews, Grohe doesn’t seem to have a very strong flow.
