ᐅ Good morning & Odensvik IKEA – Connecting the Drain Pipe and Trap

Just before finishing, a quick note: Everything is installed, except the last hose that connects the Odensvik trap to the waste pipe, which turns out to be too rigid. The issue is that the distance between the trap and the waste pipe in my setup is much shorter than shown in the Ikea drawing; both are positioned quite close together.

How have others managed tight bends with the connection hose? I might try using a heat gun tomorrow to create a sharper bend. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Shorten a hose?

Cutting does not help achieve a tighter radius. I have now bent the hose using hot air, which works very well; it retains the new shape after cooling.
