We started in the same way about a year and a half ago.
We also looked at Massa Haus, BöStein, Fischer Bau, Nurda, Helma, Hannover Haus, and many others.
With many construction companies, you need to have your own plot of land because they don’t provide land.
At Fischer Bau, they offered us some options because they had bought some plots and then sold land plus house together.
By chance, we found a building gap and got it, then planned and built the house only with Fischer. Currently, it is 70% complete.
So far, we are very satisfied with them...
In Hannover, there is a regular building fair. We gathered a lot of useful information there, which I can definitely recommend...
Otherwise, look through various ads, magazines, and online platforms for land.
The issue is that if you buy land and house together from one provider, you pay property transfer tax on both land and house. If you already own land and then have a house built by a general contractor, the taxes only apply to the land.
