Hello everyone,
I want to keep it simple and ask if anyone has already looked into the topic of turf in enough detail to recommend a good and affordable supplier or online shop! My landscaping contractor is going to shape the garden in the next few days. The landscaper suggests I should consider sowing the lawn in March. However, if I feel like it, I could also lay turf in early September, right?

Then your landscape gardener should change the soil; check the garden topic here. After 16 days, the lawn is growing perfectly on my area at the back, the soil really seems to be excellent.
On my upper area, there was a lot of weed in the soil, so I applied fresh soil, leveled it, sprayed it thoroughly, and then seeded it.

the professionally prepared soil plus the topsoil has only produced weeds instead of grassThat usually happens with sod in the second year. However, the landscaping contractor alone is not to blame; most of the time it’s a matter of budget, and no substrate is applied, only roughly screened soil.
It depends entirely on the maintenance.

And I would always choose rolled turf because the cost is nothing compared to the work involved in sowing yourself. Of course, you shouldn’t buy it from the pharmacy. The preparation work is the same. Sowing takes 60 minutes. Watering is done through an irrigation system. So what? I don’t see any extra work...Similar topics
