Hello everyone,

There are many doorbell systems available on the market, but somehow I can’t find the right one for me. In my sub-distribution board, I have a relay that is supposed to activate the doorbell. However, I want to connect a wireless module here and be able to place the doorbell freely anywhere in the house. So far, I only find solutions where you have to install a doorbell in the sub-distribution board, which then wirelessly activates others. But there must be another way, right? Does anyone know of anything?

so long...

Hmm, I don’t fully understand the issue.
Do you currently have a doorbell with a chime that is hardwired? And now you want to add another chime?
Here are a few ideas. Just use Google.

It has not been installed yet, and at the moment I only need a temporary solution that works. Currently, there is a Gira TKS system, and a Gira 128900 REG door communication switching actuator is connected to it. I want to use this to control several chimes throughout the house, where wiring is partially not available, so wireless is necessary.

So far, I have been looking for wireless chimes, but most options come as complete sets with a bell for outdoor use. However, I want to control it via a switching actuator. The system you mentioned could be an alternative: the MT3.0 together with the MP3 wireless chime.

Maybe via smart speakers? But I’m not sure what Gira allows there. With the TKS system, it is now also possible with the appropriate device to use mobile handsets.

Yes, that is the goal. I want to control it via smart speaker, mobile phone, and PC, but until that is working—and possibly for safety reasons—I want to have a "classic" system in place. The Metzler solution seems suitable. Version 2 should have enough range. I will test it.
