Steinlaus0912 Mar 2013 13:26Hello forum!
We want to build a partition wall made of glass blocks for our shower, height = 160 cm (63 inches), width = 90 cm (35 inches). For simplicity, we plan to use the plastic profile system available at the hardware store.
Now we have the idea to create an opening in this glass block wall to provide shelf space and possibly increase natural light inside the shower enclosure.
Is this even structurally possible, and if so, how? Also, what is the best way to cover the visible profile strips afterwards? Thanks in advance for your advice.

have you already thought about which material you want for the profile trims and how you plan to attach them, for example using mounting clips?
