Hello,
we have about 180 m³ (235 cubic yards) of excess excavated soil. The costs for disposal are quite high. Are there any recommendations for platforms or similar where soil can be given away for free? For example, classified ads websites or similar—are these good places to find takers?
Thank you very much.

What does the soil survey say? Is it zone 0? No one wants anything else, or it can only be used under certain conditions.
Even if you give it away, you still have to pay for transportation. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense for the buyer, and new flooring is cheaper. You only save on disposal costs. At least that’s how it works here in the south.
Try posting it on classified ads like Ebay Kleinanzeigen.

Hello house builder
Topsoil or excavation material?
You can give away topsoil, it will usually be picked up.
Excavated soil to give away? Many have tried that idea. But nobody wants it.
10 cubic meters cost about 340 euros. So for you around 6,000 euros.
But maybe you’ll find someone clueless. Every day there’s one who shows up.
