ᐅ Large Oil Stain on Clay Tile Floor

hi,

my mother has a clay floor in her kitchen. recently, a bottle of oil fell and despite cleaning, there is now a dark stain in that spot. it looks like the floor absorbed the oil. no cleaning agent has worked! do you have any tips for me?? 😕

Hi!

Since these terracotta tiles are probably untreated, they are porous. That means substances can basically be absorbed. Try cleaning the spot with linoleum stripper. That should work.
