I am planning to use geothermal energy for my house construction next year... can someone get in touch for experience sharing?

Heat pumps are great. Three holes are drilled, about 60 m (200 ft) deep, and that costs quite a bit. But after that, you don’t have to worry about problems or high energy prices anymore; it’s really a good solution.

Hello,

this is really not easy to answer.
You have to consider the entire house, not just the heating system itself, but also the aspect of domestic hot water (because if you eventually save on heating, you don’t want to end up paying too much for hot water).

So:
1. Heating – how is it implemented, and how much heating energy do you need per year?
2. Domestic hot water – how much do you need per day, and how can you get hot water as cost-effectively as possible (so no expensive electric tankless water heaters, for example)?

Take a look at my post linked above; it’s just meant as a suggestion. I’m not an expert and have to study the whole topic myself until I understand what is best for me and us.
