Good morning,
I just received a steep price increase from my energy provider enercity, raising the cost to 15 cents per kWh starting in August. That’s really tough, and I think prices will rise even further.
It’s a strange feeling to be thrown back so quickly into an energy supply situation where you have to figure out how to keep the house warm. It seems to me that the government has given up on the goal of enabling everyone to adequately cover at least their basic needs.
Goodbye central supply structures; now the winner is whoever has solar panels and a heat pump in their new build, while the others are left out.
Welcome back, coal heating 😕
Frustrated regards,

I’d rather be a conspiracy theorist... I’ve already run out of (reasonable) conspiracy theories — all have come true, the only thing missing now is the compensation for war damage. You can be blue-and-white striped for all I care. But if people tell me that Bill Gates wants to wipe out humanity (or was it just the "German people"?) using nanobots and 5G, then I take the liberty of calling them completely crazy 🙂

I’d rather be a conspiracy theorist... Even the (reasonable) conspiracy theories I knew have already come true... the only thing really missing is the wealth equalization. That will definitely happen, within a maximum of 2 years, hopefully after we’ve gotten through the worst. Because Mr. Lindner insists on the debt brake, but billions still need to be spent, so where should the money come from... 😉

Because Mr. Lindner really wants to have the debt brake, but billions still need to flow somehow... 😉The gas price cap does not actually lead to increased debt or to the debt brake being breached in 2023… the costs are allocated to 2022, when the debt brake is not being observed anyway. And in 2023 a special fund will simply be created, which does not affect the debt brake either… It’s not like one brake prevents the other from working.

Well, a special fund is just another term for taking on debt I will mark irony explicitly from now on.
