ᐅ Gas Connection for New Construction

Hello everyone,

I have a general question:
How does it work with a new build and a new gas connection?
Who provides it, or where do I need to apply for it?

I assume that there is a sort of main supplier or distributor for each region.

In my case, it would be the Pfalz area. Would that be directly Pfalzgas then?

Just ask the municipal utilities or main service providers.

On the city utilities website, I only find information about electricity and water, with no mention of gas.

But I will look into it.

That’s why it’s the basic supplier. If the local utility company isn’t responsible for gas, then it’s probably another provider 🙂

Since we built in the Südpfalz region, your local provider could also be Thüga. That was our main utility supplier.

I have since found out that it is Pfalzgas.
