Hello everyone,

greetings to all. I’m new here. :-p

Regarding the topic:

I bought a 3-room apartment that needs renovation.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a 4-story multi-family building (without a garden).

There is a gas supply line connected to my apartment. Currently, there is an old gas stove installed.

Since I have to renovate the apartment anyway, I want to install a modern individual heating system.

The question is: what type?

I would like to use solar energy or geothermal heating to be self-sufficient, but unfortunately, that’s not possible.

A few acquaintances told me to remove the gas stove and instead install a gas boiler and then place one radiator in each room.

On the internet, a friend recommended a baseboard heater that looks like a skirting board.

Can you recommend something?

Is there any way for a condominium owner to use renewable energy?

If not: Which gas heating system would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

@mightweaver: I had the same issue with wood storage and therefore switched to a natural gas condensing boiler.

I can only agree with Erik!
