I could use some advice from experienced homeowners with a green thumb 🙂
The house design is complete, and construction will start very soon. The building permit / planning permission is already approved.
I’m trying to figure out how the garden and terrace might look later on!?
Here are the details...
- The plot has a height difference of about 2.8 meters (9 feet) over 45 meters (148 feet)
- The terrace and house will be at the same level (obviously), and I was thinking of building a small wall with about 2-3 steps in the middle to bridge a height difference of around 60-80 cm (24-31 inches) to the garden, which then slopes further down.
How should I plan the garden? Should I dig a bit more at the highest point to even it out slightly? Or just leave the slope as it is?
I find it hard to visualize how it could look... If anyone has examples, I would really appreciate it.
Best regards
