I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Fummelbrett!28 Feb 2020 10:00Unfortunately, I’m at work right now, but I urgently need to take some photos this afternoon. Everything around here is covered in snow—for now. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 8°C (46°F) again, so this beautiful scene will be gone. Last night at 9 PM I shoveled snow once more after the snowplow pushed several piles into our driveway. It apparently snowed all night; I had to clear it again this morning.
As I mentioned, the snowplow went through our residential street last night but didn’t come back afterward—I basically had to do it myself this morning. A sports coupe sits a bit too low for the temporary snow accumulation.
But I really love it, and it’s a shame it will be over tomorrow. Two weeks of -15°C (5°F) would be my dream scenario: everything white, but the roads clear and dry.
I took this photo yesterday evening from the living room window—behind the houses is the volunteer fire department, which is why there’s a lighting effect here ^^

We had a quick barbecue (gas grill) yesterday around noon and experienced what felt like all four seasons. It started with bright sunshine, then a brief hailstorm, which turned into snow after 5 minutes, followed by heavy rain...
