I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

The total rainfall is higher in Munich, while the number of rainy days is the same. My theory is that the duration of rain in Hamburg, often in the form of drizzle, is longer.

The upper groundwater layer has recovered, but the deeper one has not. Both are still far from the average. Hopefully, next year won't be as hot and dry.

I loved the rainy days in Hamburg. The city was always pleasantly empty, and you were neither overrun by tourists nor approached by Scientology.

@haydee: That's exactly right; there is still a significant lack of water.
My wish for the summer: I like hot summer days that become humid in the afternoon, followed by a late, intense thunderstorm with rain continuing into the night.

I don’t like humidity because my circulation can’t handle it—but as a frequent complainer, thunderstorms with rain into the night suit me fine since then the neighbors won’t be sitting outside late making noise.
