I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

So, my cozy seating area in the garden is almost finished. Wow, that looks very neat. Not really my style—I prefer a more natural, overgrown look—but that’s a matter of personal taste.
Are you not installing any paving slabs (pavers)?
Yes, I’ve already noticed that our tastes are probably different. I really like things clean and tidy.
No, there are enough slabs on the terrace^^ In the seating area, just cemetery gravel should be enough. I saw it like that on Pinterest. It’s only supposed to be an alternative on the south side... and because of the trees, you can enjoy the shade there nicely in summer.
Oh, and it’s allowed to grow wild on the lower green area near the trees.
But I still need a "plan" for what and how I will do it... so far, a colorful wildflower meadow for the bees is on the list... but something still seems to be missing.

Here is the path to the entrance on the north side. The slope will be planted and fitted with a simple railing.

Above the railing behind the fence is the exit from our sleeping area and bathroom to a small patio that wraps around the corner of the house. Here is the fence from the other side:

And around the corner:

Another fence. Behind it is a stone wall leading to a small patio in front of the kitchen door on a level one floor below. There is also access to the terrace and a stone staircase down to the cellar level:

Viewed from above, it looks like this:

The cellar level consists of foundation walls and a roughly 20 sqm (215 sq ft) utility room – plus a space under the wooden terrace. Here there is also a small low wall:

So far, this is about a three-quarter tour of the outside. I love the finely detailed work that still feels organic and natural as a whole:

Work is still ongoing at the driveway – so no pictures yet from there or the east side. This would also fit into the thread “What turned out surprisingly well.”

This all fits perfectly with the house and the external conditions. Everything blends together very naturally. Truly well chosen and put together.
