I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

That is 1600 m² (17,222 sq ft) in a very rural area. We haven’t really thought much about how the garden should look later on, just some general ideas in mind. The great thing is that, due to the size, we don’t really have to limit ourselves much.

Why did you mow where the foundation pit is supposed to be? Or am I misunderstanding something? You misunderstood. Our concrete slab is already where the white car is parked in the photo. Otherwise, that would really be stupid.@Tina mit K
Yes, that’s probably true.
Great. With 1600 sqm (17,222 sq ft), you have quite a few options. My ideal plot size is somewhere between 1200-1500 sqm (12,917-16,145 sq ft). But since we are now taking over my parents’ house, we have 2300 sqm (24,757 sq ft) available to design – also in a rural area, of course.
We want to redesign the garden, at least part of it. I tried using an online garden planner, but I’m just not good at it. So I’m going to try sketching it out again myself, or rather my husband will.
