I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

We voluntarily green the roof areas as well. In total, it amounts to about 90 sqm (970 sq ft).

The raised bed already provides us with plenty of lettuce and spinach for picking.

Work is set to resume the week after Pentecost.
The next 250 sqm (2,690 sq ft) will be built up with walls and backfilled. The stylish pallet staircase will also be removed.
After the summer holidays, the major planting phase will begin.

Do we have to accept it when a car and trailer are parked on the property without permission, markings are removed,
and an unpaved manhole cover is driven over?

We only gave the municipality permission for market stalls that do not fit on the sidewalk to extend onto the property.

The other two stall operators rang this morning and asked what was allowed. They inquired about things like whether it was okay to hammer a nail into the old gate.

The outdoor sockets have no power; this has been the practice for 20 years.

There is already something cooking in the black pavilion. It smells wonderful.

Street market with white vans, green and white pavilion, and market stalls on the town square.

No, of course not – it seems to be an annual (?) market?
I would first politely talk to the respective vendors and see how they respond.
When you start with the landscaping, you’ll probably install a fence or hedge anyway, right?

The wall will be built but likely not until after the market next year.
The marking was made, it was in the way.
My husband measured the positions yesterday.
I just hope it didn’t affect the lintel ring.

The lady isn’t receptive to polite requests. I have to go to the neighbor next week to apply for a sidewalk closure / footpath closure. I will explain there that we would prefer a different location next year. My dog did not bite the store manager.
