I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Yes, exactly. You have here by far the most harmonious example of a beautiful combination of house and garden. Closely followed by @Georgian2019 and several times more costly by @rick2018, as well as the 1990s/2000s style of @daniels87 or @Alessandro, and also the "wooden" style by @Climbee. In the "existing house" category, my "Oscar" would go to @LordNibbler ... Wow... what a compliment... I sincerely thank you with a deep bow 🙂

It looks so lovely at your place, @Steffi33
Which wall are your tomatoes by? Are they protected from the rain?Thank you for the compliment 🙂 The tomatoes are located by our east-facing gable. They are quite sheltered here, but they shouldn’t get too much rain.Steffi33 schrieb:

It’s always nice to see that you can create something beautiful even with completely “ordinary” houses. So “special” in terms of taste, yes, but without having to unleash a barrage of architectural gimmicks or empty your wallet buying from building materials and landscaping catalogs. Just a moderate amount of everything, thoughtfully combined—looking good without being intimidating, charming without being cheesy.

Are those masonry tubs? Don’t you have any concerns about the “unrealistic” emissions?
