I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

Apply a suitable all-purpose fertilizer once. However, it probably won’t look really good again until next year.
They usually come from greenhouses under optimal conditions and then get quite a shock when placed outside in natural surroundings 🙂
The hydrangea is now growing vigorously and will be taken out of the pot next week.

Could you help us figure out what is wrong with our magnolia? We bought it in May, and it already had a few flowers. At first, there were some aphids on it, which we removed by hand. Suddenly, the leaves started to discolor and dry out. However, new leaves are still growing, but they also look like this after a short time. We only fertilized once with a little coffee grounds and otherwise just watered it. The soil is heavy topsoil with some clay content.

But I don’t know that we planted in any fertilizer. Do you mean horn shavings? Or are there actually shavings made from brain material?
