Nope. They also need to be treated, etc. If the effort for maintaining a lawn is too high, it’s better to create a meadow instead. Artificial turf is very popular in the USA. But not everything that comes from across the pond is good…

@haydee: Well, from what I have gathered, these luxury rugs are quite different. But yes, they do need to be cleaned.
I also find the idea a bit creepy, but on the other hand, I don’t mind a few yellow spots in the lawn or meadow...

The problem is that the cut panicle immediately produces seeds. Even after 1cm (0.4 inches) 😡

Well, in Vegas or somewhere similar, that might actually not be a bad solution. Although I find the landscaping in US shows on HGTV a bit uninviting.

However, if you know what it can look like, it is not really satisfying when it does not look like that.
