I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

How much sunlight does it get there?
Depending on the variety, roses can be planted in containers, but these need to be quite tall if the rose is to thrive there long-term.

Well, I really love wisteria – it’s quite toxic, but as long as there are no children around...? And it requires a lot of maintenance; it climbs over everything and can crush gutters. But apparently, it can be kept under control. Hmm. At least it’s winter-hardy. Maybe ivy or grapevine? You just have to keep pruning everything into shape.

I have a question and would like some plant recommendations: At the garden exit on the west side, I’d like to plant something on the short side of the stairway that will climb up to the porch roof. It should be flowering and also winter-hardy. Do you have any ideas?
I would plant slender bamboo there. Something flowering can be put in a pot in front.
