I thought a garden chat and photo thread would be a good idea.
This way, we have a space to share current pictures and discuss dandelions and other plants.

I wouldn’t plant that, as trouble or suspicion is almost guaranteed. It’s a plant that spreads very quickly over long distances and is really difficult to get rid of.

Do you think it’s reasonable for me to create a small circular flower bed with dandelions in our garden, or would that be inconsiderate to neighbors who might have trouble with the "offshoots," in case they don’t like dandelions? Dandelions are a valuable native plant. Enjoy them and consider it a guerrilla action against monotonous lawns. Some people might not like it, but on the other hand, many of those same people claim the right to create ecological deserts on their own property, expecting everyone else to simply accept their contribution to biodiversity loss...

Some of us have a few square meters of vegetable garden space, ranging from raised beds to large kitchen gardens. The anticipation is growing, and the planning begins. I’m drawn to the garden, even though I’m exercising every day and get frustrated by drivers coming from well over 100 meters (62 miles) away with summer tires. I plan and realize that downsizing won’t work again.
Many edible plants are on the red list. I wasn’t aware of this for a long time. Maybe you’re planning to include one or two varieties. Often, it’s about flavor, variety, and distancing ourselves from the uniform supermarket offerings.
For example, Genbänkle has a helpful website about varieties and sources for seeds.

Great thing, I’ve also already bought from Jannis Zentler’s "Queerbeet" in Eichstetten. After a newspaper article, we all rushed there *lol*. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a leased garden plot since November, but I’ve given away all the seeds so they can continue to be cultivated there.
