Hello everyone, I have the following question: Has anyone had their entire outdoor area, including the garden, done completely by a company? If so, how satisfied were you? Are there any pictures? Approximately how much did it cost? Also happy to hear about just the front yard.
Our problem: We will only return from abroad after the house construction is finished, so we cannot do anything ourselves beforehand; however, we don’t want to look out from the house or terrace onto a barren landscape during the first weeks or months. The plot is about 750 m² (8,070 sq ft), with a house roughly 10 x 10 m (33 x 33 ft) and an attached garage 6 x 6 m (20 x 20 ft). I would be very grateful for your experiences with companies – how well did the initial consultation match the final result – and if possible, for a few pictures!

We had our garden designed and constructed by a landscape gardener but were regularly on site for questions and spontaneous changes or adjustments that only became apparent during the installation.
Although the landscape gardener did most of the work (ground shaping, paving, gravel beds, splash protection, hedge planting, wiring for lighting, lawn, etc.), we still actively work in the garden ourselves and have a lot left to do.
The costs naturally depend on your individual preferences and the size of the garden, so it is not really possible to give a precise estimate.

We had everything done by the landscaping contractor, from garden work to seeding the lawn, so that everything looked neat at first. However, planting was done gradually over the following years.
It is especially important to be on site after seeding the lawn because of the watering requirements.
