ᐅ Concrete slab for garden shed directly on the property line or is it better to leave some distance?

Hello everyone,
I am currently a bit unsure about the foundation slab for our garden shed. Would you place it directly on the property boundary (as shown in the plan), or would you keep some distance from both boundaries to allow for things like a rain gutter on the shed? Would 30cm (12 inches) on each side be enough?
Regards and thanks,
Hannes

that with a boundary construction you really have to build directly on the boundary line and are not allowed to keep a 30cm (12 inches) or any other distance gapBuilding regulations: Either build directly on the boundary or keep a minimum distance of 50cm (20 inches). I would choose the latter.I wouldn’t place the garden box directly on the property line either. You might need access all around for painting (if it’s made of wood). I would design the box more like a shed or garden house with a roof overhang. This way, you can also place items against the exterior walls all around (storage space). For example, stacked wood, a beer garden set, etc. So, about 1 meter (3 feet) between the property line and the edge of the roof overhang or the base slab.
