Hello everyone,
I have been happily reading through the forum and now need some advice from you 🙂
We are currently planning our house and have to decide on the garage size due to limited space. Since our plot is quite narrow, every meter counts.
At the moment, our architect has designed the garage with interior dimensions of 6 x 5.26 meters (19.7 x 17.3 feet), which we consider too small. From our perspective, it should be at least 6 x 6 meters (19.7 x 19.7 feet).
Next to it, there is a separate access for bicycles and such; this room also leads upstairs to the basement (sloping site).
So, the garage will be used exclusively for the cars.
What do you think about this size?
Currently, we have an Audi A4 station wagon and a VW Golf, which should fit fine. But I have no idea how cars might change in the future or if we might want a larger car someday...
