They offer a sectional door measuring 5000 x 2150 millimeters (197 x 85 inches) included for 1600 euros.
Do you know this shop since it is already advertised here?
Does anyone know the company Kling, or is it just a brand name for another manufacturer?
What alternative doors are available besides Hörmann?
Our shell construction should be finished within 3 days at the latest.

Peanuts7425 Apr 2016 08:51Admittedly, I have no experience with other manufacturers. However, Hörmann doors simply work flawlessly thousands of times. There are numerous remote controls to suit every preference, and in-house accessories like the gateway allow you to operate the door or front entrance remotely. In terms of EMC and radio specifications, the transmitters are perfect and do not interfere with other devices (which cannot be said for some other products), and so on.
So, if there is a Hörmann option at a roughly comparable price, why choose a Renault when you can have a Mercedes?

Seriously though, especially for a wide gate for a double garage, I would definitely avoid going with the cheapest supplier and choose one with experience and a good reputation.
I have heard several times that wider gates are more prone to warping, which can cause them to not operate smoothly anymore, and so on.
In addition, with Hörmann, there are, I believe, three different types of profiles (insulation options) and more than just two colors available. They offer all kinds of finishes, including wood looks, with windows, doors, etc., even though most people may not want or need those features.
