We requested a quote for Novoferm, around €7000 including installation. That’s not an option...
Now we are considering installing them ourselves.
Globus hardware store would charge about €1900 per door for Hörmann doors.
On Monday, there is a 20% discount on everything. That would bring the price to about €3040.
Would that price be reasonable?
How difficult is the installation?

bierkuh8315 Oct 2016 04:11How about installing a stop (foam mat or similar) on the inside of the door as a DIY solution? The clear opening of the trunk doesn’t affect this...

The gate operator recommends placing the socket on the side so the control button can be easily operated. The electrician is concerned that this might leave some cables hanging around.

Can anyone give me a tip, or is the roller door the only option after all?With the roller door, you have almost no loss of headroom, whereas sectional doors inherently have this due to their design.
