Hello

How does the Wolf CWL 300 operate? We have only one ventilation duct in each room. Does the system switch simultaneously between supply air and exhaust air in all rooms, or are some rooms supplied with fresh air while others are exhausted?

Exhaust air in the wet rooms, supply air in the living areas.

How does the heat exchange work then? Inside the device, there is only a metal block in the middle. It certainly can’t be exposed to flow from two directions at the same time, can it?

This is a cross-flow / counterflow heat exchanger. And yes, the heat exchange happens through the metal block. Look up the principle online to understand it better. Unfortunately, links are not allowed here.

"The special feature of this unit is its counterflow technology. The supply and exhaust air are directed past each other in separate channels, where the warm exhaust air warms the cold supply air. This not only saves energy but also allows for a consistent, continuous air supply."
