Hello,

We will have fiber optic installed in our new home. The following is planned:

- One access point centrally mounted on the ceiling per floor
- DECT base station on the ground floor

I have sketched the wiring layout. Are my assumptions correct, or is there an error?

Additional question:
We will be receiving IPTV. Our provider offers a rental receiver for €4.90. Is it necessary to use this receiver, or can any other IPTV receiver work as well? LAN connections will of course be installed to each TV (not shown in the diagram).

Thank you very much for your help.

Starting from the patch panel, the planned Wi-Fi and DECT infrastructure in our house looks identical. I can't see any reason against this installation.

Basically okay. I would also install an outdoor access point for the terrace and garden.

The sketch is still missing network outlets for the different rooms. Will there be cameras?

Which IPTV provider is it? We have been with Telekom for years. I could share my experiences with you.

Edit: and why Gigaset Pro and not simply GO 100?

Local provider: Stiegeler

Pro because it supports PoE (Power over Ethernet)

Network outlets for the children's room, office, etc. will be added later. Cameras are not planned.
