ᐅ The front-facing windows are suboptimal and need to be improved.

verwirrtHello,
we have already started construction and the shell is complete. Unfortunately, looking back now, I find the front elevation bothers me. Even during the planning phase, I wasn’t completely convinced, but I was repeatedly told that the house should be designed from the inside out. We have now decided to accept changes costing up to 4,000 EUR to avoid living with this discomfort for a lifetime. Unfortunately, the changes can only be made after the building acceptance. Many things can be done by my husband, who already has a lot of DIY experience. Every time I look at it, I feel like giving up, and I hope you can save the façade with some great ideas.
I’m uploading a few pictures.
Thank you very much in advance

I understand your point on one hand, but on the other hand, you won’t get very far with 4,000 euros after the building handover...
Look at it this way: you will see the front view a maximum of three times a day, while you will see the garden view and interior design more often.

More symmetry desired? How about:
1. Enlarge the master bathroom window to match the main bathroom
2. Add a window above the staircase on the upper floor, the same size as the main bathroom window
3. Use the main bathroom window size for bedroom 3’s window
To me, this is how it is often seen in many other houses.
PS. Practicality/impracticality aside, it seems to be about the appearance only.

@SoL
That’s true, but I just can’t ignore it. Especially that small window in the top right corner really bothers me. My idea is to make that window the same size as the one below it. And maybe make the office window floor-to-ceiling as well (I’ll add a picture). I just wanted to ask if anyone has smarter ideas, because I feel kind of stuck.
