Hello everyone,
I am currently looking for a suitable front door.
Here is the issue: My front door should have an Ekey, but I do not want the door to be easily opened from the inside by simply pushing down the handle if it was locked from the outside using the Ekey. This is supposedly called a panic function, which I definitely do NOT want.
Now the question is whether there are front doors or locks that do not have this "panic function"?

So breaking a small pane of laminated safety glass might take around 10 seconds...

Yes... that's why I would never install such a large pane near the front door that a person could fit through. But as I said... breaking through a large pane of laminated safety glass takes ages, no one would really bother... but making a small hole big enough for an arm to pass through, a 10-year-old could manage if you give them a hammer.

Well, nobody does that because it’s loud and visible... by the way, we have 1m (3.3 ft) large glass elements on the left and right and none made of laminated safety glass.

But please, let's not get into technical debates. The initial question was: who knows of such doors or manufacturers that still offer them?

Just contact the major providers of locking systems directly— for example, Winkhaus.

This should be easy to solve by installing a fixed knob instead of a door lever. However, this means that in an emergency you’ll first have to find the key and use it to unlock the door.
The alternative would be to use the child safety lock or vacation mode you mentioned (though, out of convenience, it will probably only be used for a few days).

And how do you want to go outside unlocked with a fixed doorknob?
