Hello everyone!

For my planned single-family house, I am looking for a front door manufacturer that installs motorized locks directly from the factory—ideally ones from Fuhr. Since I need to be very budget-conscious, a uPVC door would be best. As some of you have already installed motorized locks, I am hoping to get constructive advice from you because it is quite difficult to find information online.

Best regards,

Enrico

What you describe as inferior is actually equivalent to security glass rated RC3 in other locks, just by "pushing it aside"!

The advantage is having no moving parts in the lock—where you see the inferiority remains your secret!

I have already understood that Innotherm installs the best locks in the world...

and once again, you didn't understand it

RC3 or not, merlin is right. The motorized locking mechanism pulls the door into the frame, which is what makes it properly sealed. This is unlikely to happen with just "pushing it over."

The only person with a somewhat limited perspective here is you!

There is not only Innotherm (which probably also buys its locks), but many more manufacturers with different technologies.

Finding the right door with the right technology for the user’s needs is the real challenge; and having a lot of technology (motorized lock) is not always the best solution!

Please share the datasheet of your lock or the model number...

Just as a side note: There is a company group specializing in door openers... assa abloy.

EffEff, for example, produces numerous different motorized locks.

We have a triple locking system with automatic locking and panic function.

For opening the exterior doors, garage, and mailbox, we use a locking system from keso...

It works and is always locked (secured)!
