Good evening everyone,
We are the future owners of a single-family house that will be completed in October 2019.
Today, we encountered an unpleasant surprise and would really appreciate your opinions.
We visited the Brömse showroom for the selection process and chose our windows and front door there. We liked a front door in the showroom and ultimately decided on that door (the model is quite expensive, but we thought at least then we’d know exactly what we were getting). This door was foil-wrapped in walnut color on both the inside and outside.
Yesterday the carpenter finally came and installed the windows and front doors, and the surprise was: the front door is only walnut-colored on the outside, the inside is white.
But we want exactly the door that was in the showroom, FOIL-WRAPPED ON BOTH SIDES.
Attached is the carpenter’s quote. Can you tell if it states that we wanted foil only on the outside? It was very important to us that we get exactly the door shown in the showroom, and if it was supposed to be different, shouldn’t the seller at least have pointed that out???
Thank you for your opinion.

Front door panel as shown in the display. If I’m not mistaken, that’s the crucial sentence. That applies to me from both sides.
Have you already spoken with the company? I’m surprised the door is already being installed at your place. There are still so many trades involved. Scratches and dents seem inevitable.

Thank you, that reassures me. A front door panel with a wooden board has been temporarily installed for now. The correct door panel will be installed later. From the white frames, you can tell that the front door panel on the inside will also be white later. We contacted the seller, and he said that we ordered it that way. We will continue to raise complaints and will definitely keep you updated.

Simply lodge a complaint with the supplier.

The specification text says nothing about the finishing foil, only the phrase "as in display" might refer to it.

In any case, have the door removed again, whether the foil is correct or not. It should be installed last.
Unless you are working with a general contractor or developer and have no separate trades on site – then it’s clear who is liable for any damage.

The door in the display is covered with foil. We are working with a general contractor, and the correct front door panel will be installed later. However, the frames are already in place, which show the color of the front door panel.

What does the seller say? There’s only a problem if you don’t get the correct door. Until then, it’s just an inconvenience.
The seller said that we ordered the front door as it was. Really the worst, it was clear that we wanted the same door as in the showroom and not a different one.

We haven’t received the correct door. The right door clearly includes the correct color as well!

That can be clarified. Where is the problem?
I will do it as well.
