Hello, we are currently deciding during the selection process whether a triple locking system is sufficient.
The background is that although we have already selected the five-point locking system, I wanted a door with a mechanical automatic lock for convenience.
(A door where the bolts automatically engage when the door shuts, so no additional locking is needed).
Unfortunately, we have learned that this system is only available with triple locking. Now the question is, is that sufficient, or should we forgo the automatic lock and stick to the five-point system?

There are also other options. I have a 7-point locking system (meaning there are simply 7 hooks and bolts) and a motorized lock. This means that when I let the door close, the motor locks it automatically. A simple push of the handle opens the door from the inside. That was important to me, because with other providers you still had to press some additional switches. For opening from the outside, I can use a key (which I don’t prefer), a fingerprint scanner, or a remote control, similar to a car. The lock, fingerprint scanner, etc. are from Fuhr. The door is made of wood and hasn’t warped so far. It is also flush on both sides with an overlap on the frame, with a door leaf thickness of 70mm (2.8 inches) and triple glazing. You need to be careful not to get a thin insert or overlay panel, as these insulate poorly and tend to warp.
