Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a forum search function (where can I find it?) and I apologize if this question has already been asked.

I removed damaged sections of the garage floor and filled them with concrete. Not the entire garage, just the damaged spots. In the middle of the garage, there is a small depression (1 meter long, 1 meter wide, and 20 cm deep (8 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 8 inches deep)) that was also completely filled with concrete and rebar. Now my main question: When can I apply leveling compound? The concrete was poured 10 days ago and, as mentioned, not over a large area. Usually about 2 to 4 cm (1 to 1.5 inches) deep.

Before the car goes back into the garage, so the floor is fully loaded, I plan to wait another two weeks. But can I apply the leveling compound now?

Thank you for your help and best regards from a fellow do-it-yourselfer!

I think so. The concrete has cured, and a bit of residual moisture doesn’t matter since the leveling compound is also cement-based and mixed with water.

Typically found in the datasheet of the leveling compound

The search function is located at the top right, next to the magnifying glass icon. However, it does not work very well.
