ᐅ At what stage are cables typically installed in a prefabricated house?

Hello everyone,
I have another coordination question:
When is the connection for electricity and telephone typically planned?
We are planning a prefab house.
When are the cables usually installed in the house? At the earliest during the house construction, right?
And what about gas and water... those are generally installed together with the cables, aren’t they?
So, should you start applying for everything with the utility providers and telecom about 3 months before the house construction?
I know, lots of questions, but in this area, well, luckily, I have no experience.
Thanks a lot!

No house number here 😉
At least it’s on the notice for the recurring fees.
Do you or anyone else know how it works if you want just the line, but no contract?
I mean regarding costs, usability, etc.Sorry, I have to step in here: Whether you have a house number or not doesn’t matter to the telecom company at all. Your house number must be registered in THEIR system – and for us, that alone took 2-4 months and probably about 20 phone calls (granted, we are Vodafone customers and wanted something from Telekom,...). So it’s not enough just to have one (or not) – they must have created one for you.
In our case, the cable was installed by E.ON, and they also handled connecting the line to the network on Telekom’s side – that part went really smoothly. The installation of the house connection by Telekom then took another 2 months.

When we connect the duct, we will also lay corresponding empty conduits that the utility providers can use.
I’m curious because I want to move away from Telekom but still keep the connection, as the 50 Mbit I currently have cannot be maintained at the new location.

PhoenixDH10 Sep 2013 11:18Even though it costs a few euros more, it will be installed inside the house. Thanks for the information.
I have already had initial contact with the telecom company regarding the request, but the construction was delayed.
Somewhere at home, I have the phone number of the company that installs the telecom connections for us.
I will just make an inquiry.
