Hello everyone,

Our townhouse will have floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor. We are currently looking for suitable French balconies for these windows.

However, we can't seem to find the ones we like online at the moment.

Maybe someone here can help us. We want balconies without posts, so just horizontal stainless steel bars that are fixed to the facade on the left and right sides.

Does anyone possibly have a link?

Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure, but does that make sense? You can easily climb up on crossbars (for example, as a child).... aren't there regulations similar to those for stair railings, and that's why you can't find anything suitable?

Climbing is certainly true, but the children also grow bigger.

We have seen these kinds of designs more than once and found them quite stylish. Not as intrusive as most other options.

In the building regulations of your federal state, for example, you can find what is allowed.
However, the balconies are required precisely to prevent anyone from falling out. Personally, I would prioritize the safety of my children over the stylish appearance. When the children are older, the balconies can be replaced.

I personally find French balconies very unattractive, no matter how they are designed... but I also really like floor-to-ceiling windows.

I simply had the lower third fixed with glazing, and that solved everything—no ugly bars or grilles needed on the outside.

We are also fans of floor-to-ceiling windows and do it like Mykraft!!! I think it looks best. But it’s not the easiest to clean. DOESN’T MATTER!!! The window cleaner has to take care of it.
