eick2303Hello forum,
I hope I have selected the right subforum for my question.
The construction phase will begin soon. To build the house, a foundation must be laid. However, I have the following question that I was not able to find a clear answer to through Google searches.
First, the basic information:
Single-family house with ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system)
Masonry made of 24cm (9.5 inches) Poroton bricks
Facade insulation 160mm (6.3 inches)
Exterior plaster approx. 1.5cm (0.6 inches)
Floor slab with strip foundation
My question relates to the construction of the floor slab with strip foundations.
How should I pour the concrete for the strip foundation and the floor slab?
Should I pour both at the same time?
Or
First pour the strip foundation, let it cure, and then pour the floor slab with a separating membrane between the floor slab and strip foundation?
Or
Pour the strip foundation and leave reinforcing bars protruding. Let the strip foundation cure and then pour the floor slab without a separating membrane?
I have found all these variants by now, but I am not sure when to apply which one!
Maybe you can help me with this. I have attached a sketch for reference.
