Hello, I am interested in a building plan/floor plan from Poland. It’s not about saving money; I simply find the house beautiful and have fallen in love with it. Unfortunately, I find German floor plans terribly boring. The plans are obviously in Polish and probably do not comply with German building regulations. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does it make sense to hire a German architect here and give them the plans? Is it enough to have the plans professionally translated and hire a construction manager? Is construction in Poland very different from construction in Germany? Thanks for any advice on this topic.

What speaks against discussing the basic floor plan idea with a professional architect or structural engineer? It’s essentially no different than taking a sheet of paper and a pencil.

The only downside is that I would have to pay the architect twice.
What happens if I already have German, approved architectural plans? Is a site manager sufficient then, or do I need both? In other words, do I also need the architect involved until the end?

Hello Stein0013,

were you able to make any progress with the Polish building plan/floor plan?
