Hello,

Are there any disadvantages if I skip lintels and install the roller shutters directly below the concrete ceiling on the ground floor and under the ring beam on the upper floor?

If installed correctly by professionals, not

And what does professional installation mean? Or rather, why shouldn’t windows with a lintel also be installed professionally?

Properly fitted means that the bearing surfaces, etc., must be observed.

We also do not have lintels as such.

That only makes sense in this context: the ceiling does not need a lintel, and here there is nothing left to support above the shutter box.

Whether with or without lintels, proper installation of windows is a matter of chance. The success rate in this area leaves much to be desired.

OK thanks

Where do mistakes often happen there?
I don’t imagine it to be that complex.
