Hello everyone, my wife would like a footrest to make it easier to shave her legs.
Who has a built-in solution and would like to share it? Or an alternative solution? So far, I have also seen supports for corners at the major online stores. Does anyone have a recommendation for a specific product?

??? Sorry, I shave my legs in a simple way, and have been doing so for 30 years – without a footrest! Just sit on the edge of the bathtub and go. Life doesn’t change with a house when it comes to certain tasks.

I think he means for the shower. Not everyone has a bathtub.

I also originally wanted a fixed corner seat in the shower, but we decided against it because it takes up space in the shower. Now we have a transparent acrylic stool, which is more flexible. It usually stands at the edge of the shower for drying feet, putting things down... and can be moved into the shower if needed.

That’s right, I asked about the shower. A bathtub edge would be too impractical since the shower is not used inside the bathtub.

I once saw in a hotel that a small recessed niche, similar to those used for shampoos but smaller, was built into the wall about 20 cm (8 inches) above the floor. We spent a long time wondering what the niche was for.

Suggestion:
Install one of the fold-down seats designed for "later stages of life" (meaning "elderly people").
I can imagine that this dual function – "sitting and resting feet" – could be practical.
